Matwork Classes

Studio Mat Classes

Our mat classes are different to most…Our teachers are highly trained and possess an innate enthusiasm for Pilates. This enables them to deliver a focused structure to the class, in a dynamic manner, giving guaranteed physical benefits such as improved core strength and flexibility. Due to our intimate class sizes we are able to incorporate our clients’ goals into each and every session.

We offer a range of group mat classes, such as:

Beginner Classes: Perfect if you are new to Pilates or have any chronic condition
Intermediate & Improver Classes: For the extra challenge, must have attended at least 10 Pilates classes prior to registration
Over 60’s: This class currently ranges up to the late 70’s but does not stop us from incorporating some of the more advanced exercises where appropriate
Bone Health & Posture: A specialised class for those with, or at risk of, developing osteoporosis

Mat Classes

Our mat classes are different to most…

  • Our teachers are highly trained and possess an innate enthusiasm for Pilates.
  • They deliver a focused structure to the class, in a dynamic manner, giving guaranteed physical benefits such as improved core strength and flexibility.
  • Due to our intimate class sizes we are able to incorporate our clients goals into each and every session.
  • Beginner Classes: Perfect if you are new to Pilates or have any chronic condition. Our teachers will safely guide you through entry level exercises, modify them as appropriate, all the while delivering a class that’s enjoyable yet challenging so you feel the benefits of learning how to move well immediately.
  • Improver & Intermediate Classes: For the extra challenge, must have attended at least 10 Pilates classes prior to registration. Learn to push your body through movements previously not experienced remembering that the goal is not the end position but how you got there.
