Mia is a Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor with extensive experience within the health and fitness industry. Her career started as a personal trainer, Body Pump and Spinning instructor at a large American bank in Canary Wharf. With her interest in human movement and performance she then went on to study Physiotherapy at St George’s University in London, from where she graduated in 2009. Whilst at university Mia started her pilates teacher training, and has since then completed matwork, reformer and ante/postnatal courses.
For the past 11 years Mia has treated musculoskeletal pain and sports injuries, and has found Pilates to be a fantastic and efficient way to rehab clients ranging from the desk bound to elite athletes. Mia takes a holistic approach to health and is passionate about the improved strength, mobility, control and body awareness that Pilates brings. She believes the rewards of Pilates are not only for those recovering from injury but for anyone looking to improve their overall fitness, health and well-being.
Aside from Physiotherapy and Pilates, Mia enjoys playing with her two young kids and exploring London’s many hidden gems.
