Gemma Chavez-Kenny
All Things Pilates’ company director, physiotherapist and Pilates instructor.
Graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2010 with a Masters in Physiotherapy and began her career working for a local private practice and the Beaconsfield Rugby team.
In 2011, she trained as a Pilates teacher and began teaching during her evenings and weekends whilst she worked in some of the leading London teaching hospitals including the Royal Brompton, University College Hospital and the Royal Marsden; advancing her knowledge in musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation and the management of breathing pattern dysfunction.

Jacqueline Pye
Jacqueline’s Pilates journey initially started to aid recovery from a minor back injury.
Jacqueline has 15 years experience teaching pre- and post-natal Pilates; she loves encouraging women to feel healthy and strong during their pregnancies and supporting them on their recovery after birth.
She is one of All Things Pilates resident cyclists, regularly cycling to the studio most days regardless of the weather!
Having been introduced to the The Franklin Method during her Pilates courses, she pursued further training in it and has become a specialist Franklin Method Fascia Trainer for the Pelvic Floor.

Alison Franklin
Ali found that Pilates complemented her own training and blended well with her skills as a sports massage therapist. After completing her training in equipment Pilates with Polestar Pilates UK, Ali went on to complete a Mat course with Polestar.
Ali is particularly interested in helping clients overcome injury through Pilates and, as a keen runner, in helping runners improve their performance and remain injury free, through Pilates.
By day, Ali is an Engineer, specialising in public health aspects of construction. She is a keen gardener and DIYer – and is, of course, a lifelong, passionate supporter of Brentford FC!
Currently, Ali teaches an online Mat course at 7.30am on Wednesdays, to get the day off to a great start and is in the Studio on Saturday mornings, offering classes and 1:1s.

Anna Court
Anna is a chartered physiotherapist, with a wealth of experience in both the NHS and private sector. Her background includes working with athletes to enhance performance, as well as supporting people through recovery from injury or undergoing cancer treatment, respiratory conditions, and orthopaedic issues.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Anna brings a deep personal passion for movement, health, and wellbeing. She has competed in elite-level CrossFit, taken part in multi-day cycling expeditions, and is a qualified PADI Advanced Open Water diver. Her love for the ocean and outdoors began while growing up in Devon and Cornwall, and she continues to enjoy freediving, sea swimming, and coastal exploration. Anna is also a keen traveller and cook – from volunteering in Malaysia as a teen, to backpacking solo through Asia, adventure is never far away.

Hollie Maskell
Hollie is a Chartered Physiotherapist, having completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy degree in 2016. She spent five years working in the NHS, across all areas of physiotherapy and has subsequently spent three years in private practice and now works at our sister practice, All Things Physio.
Having completed her degree, Hollie completed post-graduate courses in matwork and equipment Pilates, as well as in acupuncture and sports massage.
Hollie is a keen runner and completed the London Marathon earlier this year. As such, she can relate closely to those recovering from injury and help clients achieve their goals, whether that’s running a marathon, or staying fit to do their gardening in later years!

Hilary Lloyd
Hilary joined the team in 2018 – her focus is largely handling bookings, emails and general queries, as well as helping develop our services.
Hilary came to the studio several years ago suffering with neck and shoulder problems caused by spending too much time at a computer screen and back and knee pain from a life-time of strutting around in high-heeled shoes!
Following an empowering Mindfulness course (run by Cynthia Bonell at the studio) – and inspired by Gemma and the team – she decided to take a completely new direction and is now training with Polestar Pilates to become an instructor. Hilary truly believes Joseph Pilates philosophy that “if your spine is inflexibly stiff at 30, you are old. If it is completely flexible at 60, you are young”
