Goodbye TM3 – Hello Acuity!

News

It’s all change at the studio right now – we’ll be moving to a new booking system soon – see below for more details.

We know that many of you will be away in the run-up to Easter and some of our Instructors are away too.  So, instead of classes and 1:1s on Tuesday, and Wednesday of that week (12 and 13 April), we’ll be offering some time for self-practice – see below for more details.

Don’t forget to take a look at Community Corner (below) – we have a fun video link for you to follow!

We are looking forward to this new chapter and hope you are too.  If you have any queries or ideas for the studio, please let us know – we love feedback!

If you’re starting your Easter break now, or whatever else you’re up to this week, we hope you enjoy it!

Goodbye TM3 – Hello Acuity!

We are sure that many of you will be pleased to know that we plan to move to a new user-friendly booking system very soon.

We’ll be emailing you about that very early next week to tell you more about the great features that Acuity offers  – keep an eye on your inbox!

Self practice in the Studio!

We know that some of you will be away in the run-up to Easter and due to pre-arranged holiday plans, some of our teachers will be away too.

Unfortunately, that means that on  Tuesday 12 April and Wednesday 13 April we won’t be able to offer any sessions during the day – although our online and evening classes will continue.

So, we thought we’d offer those who’d like it the opportunity for some self practice!  We trialled this a few weeks ago and had great feedback.  We have set up some ‘self practice’ sessions, limited to four clients and priced at £15 for up to 90 minutes of practice.    Although we had to call them classes (for booking purposes) – they are not teacher led.  Hilary will be in the studio to assist if you have any questions but it’s your opportunity to do your own thing.

So, if there’s a movement that you struggle with in class, take some time to practice it at your own pace; if there are movements that you love – enjoy them at your leisure.  Have fun and play!

Places are limited so book your place now!

All Things Pilates Community Corner!

This week on Instagram we’re show-casing the Elephant.

It’s a wonderful movement for strengthening lower abdominals and lower back muscles – we think that just watching this encourages you to stretch out your spine!  Adele is demonstrating a number of variations offering more or less challenge depending on how your body feels on any day!  Why not practice this in your self-practice session?

If you’d like to try this on the Mat but you’re not sure how, have a word with your teacher who’ll be happy to demonstrate and offer you the right level of challenge.

Take a look here  – and if you like, send us a video or photo of your Elephant – we’d love to see how you’re getting on with it!

We’ve been show-casing quite a few movements over recent weeks and they all look so smooth and graceful.  But it’s not always plain-sailing, particularly if you have a puppy trying to get in on the fun!  Take a look at our Find Your Flo! bloopers reel – featuring the entire Chavez Kenny family – it has caused quite a stir on Instagram this week!
