Treat yourself and a loved one to a DUET Pilates session
We’re totally hooked on the Winter Olympics! The skill and artistry on display are mesmerising to say nothing of the speed and gravity-defying performances – the years of training and commitment are very evident! Although they’re worlds apart, we’re also hooked on the Six Nations Rugby – with such different skills on display and great rivalries!
We still manage to find time for outdoor exercise and have been particularly enjoying long walks. For those able to get out early enough to enjoy them, there have been some amazing sunrises and we’ve noticed how much longer the days are – it’s so uplifting!
As it’s half term, we know that some of you h
ave plans for a break abroad or closer to home. For those staying at home and celebrating Valentine’s Day, why not treat yourself and a loved one to a duet session – read on for more details.
If you’d fancy something even more indulgent, why not join Leanne at her Pilates weekend later this month – more details below.
Many of you have been kind enough to ask how Gemma and Isla (and Andreas and Flo!) are doing, so we’ve persuaded them to pose for a new family portrait (in the studio of course!) – check it out below.
Being half term, our classes aren’t as busy as usual, so if you have a little extra time on your hands this week, why not book into one of our studio or online classes – see below for more details.
Whatever the coming week holds for you, we hope you enjoy it!
Find your Flow® in February!
Our class timetable for February is now open for bookings!
There are still places available in most of our classes this week, both online and in the studio. If you’d like to join us, you can book your place below.
We’re planning to open a new Reformer Plus class on Saturday mornings from March, for those of you who can’t get in during the week – more details next week!
Valentine’s Day
For those of you thinking about Valentine’s Day, why not treat yourself and your loved one to a duet session with one of our expert teachers! We have noticed that duet sessions have become increasingly popular – whether with your partner or a friend.
Duet sessions are also a great option as a half-way house between 1:1 sessions and group classes. If you’d like to try duet sessions, but don’t have anyone to join you, let us know and we’ll see if we can match you with the perfect Pilates partner!
For anyone looking for an indulgent late-Valentine’s Day, there are still places on Leanne’s Pilates retreat in an idyllic setting in Cornwall from 25 to 27 February. Prices start at £325 per person in a shared room with Pilates, freshly prepared food and wine tasting included!
For more details, take a look at Leanne’s website or contact her at leanne@sonapilates.com
All Things Pilates Community Corner!
Many of you have kindly asked how Gemma and Isla are doing, so we thought we’d share this adorable family photo – taken in the studio of course. Isla is growing stronger and is beginning to develop her own little personality. Gemma assures us that this is Flo – although it’s hard to believe how much she has grown…!
On his visit to the studio Andreas was kept busy demonstrating his Pilates skills – take a look at Instagram to see him perform variations of the Roll Up – doesn’t it make you want to get down on the floor and stretch out your spine?!
