  Happy New Year!
What’s on this week: 16 – 21 January 2023

Dear <<First Name>>,

Happy New Year everyone – we hope it’s a great one, filled with health and happiness.

Despite the somewhat depressing weather, it’s great to see everyone getting into the studio  –  we’re also welcoming new clients and are excited to help you all reach your health goals in 2023.  Speaking of that, have you thought about your goals for 2023?  We’d love to know what they are and how we can support you to achieve them!

We have started our new themed program in our Reformer Plus classes.  This time we’ll be focusing on classic Pilates movements: ‘Climb a Tree’ and ‘Arabesque’.  Take a look at Community Corner below to learn more!

We were sorry to say goodbye and thank you to Leanne at the end of last year.  As many of you know, Leanne led our Friday morning online class, with great sparkle and expertise.  We’d like to thank her for stepping in during a challenging time and to wish her well for the future.  We hope we’ll be seeing her again in the not too distant future.

Gemma is now teaching the Friday morning class at 7.30am and is looking forward to reconnecting with many of our regular clients – and hopefully some new clients – to get your Friday off to the best start!

We are offering a First Aid Training Course on Sunday 26 February.  It will be delivered by Saving Lives at Work (who are specialists in this area) and will be held in the studio.  There are still some places available, so if you’re interested, please see below for more details.

Have a great week and we look forward to seeing you in the studio or online soon!

 First Aid Course

Have you ever found yourself in a situation where someone has been injured and you’re not sure what to do?  Would you like to be able to perform CPR or use a defibrillator (or even know how to find one)?

If that sounds like you, then you may be interested in joining our First Aid Course at the studio on Sunday 26 February from 10am to 4pm.

The course will be facilitated by Saving Lives at Work, who are experts in this area and will lead to a Level 3 Certificate in Emergency First Aid at Work, valid for 3 years.

As well as covering CPR, you’ll also learn how to treat minor injuries and what to do – and not to do – while you’re waiting for paramedics to arrive.  Of course, it’s not limited to work situations and covers accidents at home too, including accidents involving children.

All of our team will be attending and from past experience, the course will be delivered in a highly professional, but very relaxed manner.

The course is priced at £125 (highly competitive rate benchmarked against other providers) and we think, offers great value for money.

If you’re interested in joining, please let us know.

All Things Pilates Community Corner!

We have now started on our new themed Find your Flow® program in our Reformer Plus classes.  The program is centred on classic Pilates movements – ‘Climb a Tree’ and ‘Arabesque’.  (Gemma is demonstrating advanced versions of these movements above.)

As you can see, they are whole body movements, but don’t worry – as always, we’ll help you find your best ‘Climb a Tree’ and ‘Arabesque’, taking a step-by-step approach!

Over the next six weeks, we’ll be building up the movements, enabling you to work at your own level and pace to progress.  It’s always worth taking a snapshot (mental or otherwise!) of how you move at the beginning of the program and another at the end of the program, to measure your progression.

We can always see the great progress you’ve made and it’s so rewarding to see everyone celebrating that progress!

Over the next few weeks, we’ll take a closer look at some of the movements forming part of this program to help you understand more of the benefits in your everyday life.  So watch this space – and enjoy the program!
