Gratitude this Christmas!

News

It has been another topsy turvy year, ending very much as it began, with the threat of another lockdown looming large.  However, as we reflect on the year gone by, our overriding feeling is of gratitude – and of excitement for whatever 2022 has in store!

We are thrilled that we were able to welcome clients, old and new, back into the studio and share their joy as they reacquainted themselves with the reformer and other studio equipment.  We are inspired every day and feel privileged to share your journeys, whether it’s the ability to enjoy gardening without pain, or completion of a triathlon – we know how committed you have been to achieving those goals.

After the experience of lockdowns, we have appreciated even more, the ability to come together as a community and were delighted to be able to host our first ever wreath-making workshop, providing an opportunity to socialise (as well as to learn a new skill).  We hope that 2022 will see many more opportunities to come together.

This hasn’t always been an easy year in the studio, as the team were affected by sickness, the dreaded ‘ping-demic’ and even an erupting volcano, forcing us to cancel and rearrange classes at short notice.  We have been so grateful for your patience, understanding and support as we dealt with these issues.

On a more personal level, Gemma and Andreas are overwhelmed with love and gratitude for the safe delivery of their beautiful baby girl, Isla and for the outpouring of joy and good wishes from across our community.

It has truly been a momentous year!

We hope that 2022 will be, perhaps a calmer, more certain and above all a healthy year and that, even though our Christmas celebrations may be quieter this year, they are filled with love and joy!

Best Wishes,

Gemma and the All Things Pilates team
